(Denver, CO) – 10.10.10 Health started with The Big Reveal at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House on Monday, June 20th launching a 10 day program for 10 prospective CEOs tackling 10 wicked problems in health.
On Friday, June 24th from 3:00 – 5:30pm at the Anschutz Medical Campus (Building Ed 2 South, 1102 Lounge, 13121 E 17th Ave., Aurora, CO 80045) a midpoint event, open to the public, will bring together some well-recognized industry leaders, the Denver community and the 10 prospective CEOs to take the process a step further. 10.10.10 is a business generator that encourages entrepreneurs with successful track records to explore and develop solutions to wicked problems in specific areas beginning with Health. For the first several days, the prospective CEOs have been diving into the problems and engaging with validators (practitioners and experts in their fields). On Friday, they will begin to shift gears. The wicked problems are still in view, but each of them will dive deeper into a specific problem, and begin the first day of a 5-day Sprint that will lead them towards prototypes and concepts for market-based ventures.
This engaging event showcases presentations by recognized industry thought leaders including Steve VanNurden, Executive Director, Biotechnology Relationships at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, Dr. Wendy Sue Swanson, Executive Director of Digital Health and author of the Seattle Mama Doc Blog for Seattle Children’s Hospital, Dr. David Rosenman who is currently at Mayo Clinic and is a graduate of MIT’s Innovation Program and finally Kimberly Muller, Director of Technology Transfer (CU Anschutz Medical Campus).
On June 20th during The Big Reveal the 10 Wicked problems were revealed and include the following:
